Dear First Grade Families,

Hi!  I hope you all had an amazing summer! Welcome back!  My name is Evelyn Locke. This is my 18th year teaching and fourth year at the Charter School.  I have been married to my husband Jess for 13 years and we have two sons.  Marshall is in 4th grade and Cooper is in Pre-K4. 

I am so excited to meet you all Tuesday, August 7 at Orientation!  Come in anytime between 11am-1pm or 4pm-6pm.  You can bring your child's school supplies at that time.

 First grade is a fun year.  I am looking forward to a successful year! We are going to have a magical adventure with lots of fun and learning. I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you.  I believe that you and I are a team working together to help your child develop emotionally and academically.  You are the most important person in your child’s life and you are also a teacher in your child’s life.  I know if we work together and communicate, your child will have a very successful year!

The Villages Charter School

Box Tops for Education: Our class is collecting Box Tops for Education and could really use your support. Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of grocery and household product, clip the label, and send them in to our classroom. We are trying to earn "free" money for our school (each label is worth 10 cents). So before you throw away any of your used items, please check to see if there is a box top label you can clip for our class. Thank you in advance for your support!
